Risa

Risa is a passionate and experienced voice teacher based in Tokyo, with over 15 years of teaching experience. She began learning classical piano at an early age, which laid a strong musical foundation for her future endeavors. 

During her formative years, Risa joined a musical theater club, where she discovered her love for singing and performance. She later graduated from the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, where she received a Vocal Associated Arts (VAA) degree and expanded her musical knowledge and expertise.

Risa specializes in various genres, with a particular focus on pop rock. Her diverse musical interests allow her to connect with students of all backgrounds and preferences. She believes in creating a dynamic and interactive learning environment where students feel motivated and inspired to explore their musical potential.

Risa has a strong background in vocal technique and is dedicated to helping singers develop their skills and confidence. She emphasizes the importance of vocal health and proper technique, ensuring her students build a solid foundation. Her teaching approach combines technical expertise with a deep understanding of each student's unique needs and goals, fostering a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.

In addition to her teaching career, Risa works as a background vocalist and tours occasionally. She has also performed live as a solo artist, singing and playing the piano with her own composed songs.

She is excited to join The American Guitar Academy and looks forward to inspiring and guiding her students to reach their full potential.
