Today is a sad day for the guitar community. We have suffered a great loss as Jeff Beck has passed away. He was undoubtedly one of the very best to have ever picked up the instrument.
He forged his own way of playing, with no pick, using the tremolo bar and volume knob, and more, to make the guitar express itself in ways that no other guitarist has ever done. Every note was articulated differently and almost every electric guitar technique was used in his playing. It was probably the closest that any electric guitarist has gotten to replicating the human voice.
Thank you Mr. Jeff Beck and may you rest in peace. There will never be another one like you!
